Dubai is my home and professional base. I have spent more than 20 years leading transaction banking, cash management, payments and corporate solutions businesses across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as New Zealand and the wider Asia Pacific region.
My foundations are in banking. I have led wholesale transaction banking businesses with direct commercial accountability for cash management, domestic and cross border payments, liquidity, receivables, clearing and working capital. At Visa and Mastercard, I brought that experience to regional leadership roles in B2B and commercial payments across diverse markets.
Today, my perspective sits at the intersection of established banking and new money movement. My experience includes translating stablecoins, digital asset settlement, embedded finance and emerging payment infrastructure into practical commercial propositions, with a clear view of regulation, risk and adoption.
I bring the perspective of an operator who understands both the treasury problems businesses need to solve and the ecosystem required to deliver change at scale.

Two origins.
One global outlook.
Pōrana is the te reo Māori name for Poland. For me, the name brings together two important parts of who I am: my Polish heritage and my origins in Aotearoa New Zealand.
I chose Porana because it reflects where I come from and the perspective I have developed through living and working around the world. It is personal, distinctive and grounded in heritage, while looking outward with curiosity and confidence.
Strength, curiosity, courage and openness to new ideas have shaped how I lead and how I approach change. Porana connects my past with my ambitions for the future. It also reflects how I work: making complexity understandable, giving leaders a path forward and helping translate ambition into progress.

I focus on how stablecoins, tokenisation and modern settlement infrastructure can reduce friction in cross border money movement, improve B2B settlement and create better working capital and reconciliation outcomes.
My perspective is commercial and strategic. Through leadership roles across banks and payment networks, and as a member of the Middle East Stablecoin Association’s Legal and Regulatory Committee, I understand the opportunity alongside the regulatory, risk and adoption requirements.

Endurance and perspective
Performance shaped
beyond business.
Sport has been an important part of my life and has shaped my approach to discipline, resilience and sustained performance.
As a competitive runner, I finished 75th overall at the 2006 New York City Marathon in a personal best of 2:34:15 and won the New Zealand Road Relay championship three times. I also finished fourth overall at the Sydney Half Marathon. I later moved into endurance sport, completing seven events over the iron distance and recording a personal best of 9:31:30 at Challenge Roth in 2013.
Today, exercise remains an important part of my life. I train most days, alternating between road cycling, mountain biking, running and strength training. I also coach youth football in Dubai, helping young players develop confidence, teamwork and a genuine enjoyment of sport.
